actually

Thanks Danman…but if we can I think Drews place will be the better place. Mainly because if we’re leaving from there (and also returning to there) it will be easier for folks to carpool to and from since it’s mostly between The Fox and where they live (as opposed to your house or Matts which is beyond a few of us and would make it difficult to return to at such a late hour). I mean, if this thing is as long as the version I have on film (and I’m sure it is) we’ll be returning home between 1 and 2 in the morning…I don’t think myself, Drew, Vanita or the Eureka ladies will want to go to your house to get their cars and drive back home. (though someone may want to pick up the Eureka ladies and bring them wherever anyway, but that’s not up to me).
um…so yeah…I guess it could be at yours OR Drews…do we do a coin toss to figure it out or mud wrestling?

food and stuff

so…Drew and Vanita will be here Saturday (Friday maybe?)…the plan was to have a barbeque at my place…uh…then I moved out of Tony’s.
As it stands…we have no great place to have it…anyone wanna volunteer their homestead?

Ry Ry!! w00t!

Ryan will be leaving the hospital and returning to his apartment tomorrow. Yeehaw!

Other news…I just broke the left ear off of my headphones. Life is good…if you are Jacob Snyder.

“it’s like playing leap frog with a unicorn”

i got a new cell phone…and new number…but, i’m not gonna post it here. my old cell number voicemail has the number…check that out to get the new number.

jon…that is hilarious and the site looks great.

does anyone have an update on ryan? i assume he’s recovering…

Wisdom from “The Anonymous”

more wisdom/hilarity from the person who makes my emails fun.

i love kids! i can relate and get along with them much
more than i can adults… maybe it’s because kids are actually on a higher
thinking plane that all the old people. and by old i mean over 30. duh.
once people get to that age they lose the capability to imagine and pretty
much learn any cool new tricks. all they do is cook and pay bills and work
and sleep… where’s the mud pies and the made-up plays? real school???
heck no. play school. get maried for real?? crap no. play house and
pretend so when your spouse eats your cookie you can divorce them no
questions then cuddle up ten minutes later and watch fraggle rock. and who
the crap ever needs to know what time it is? it’s all simple. stay up
until your tired or until dinner, then sleep. yeah. the real world is for
dead people. that’s what i have concluded.

well, goodbye :)

i’ve been dead, that’s why

sorry i haven’t posted lately. whatever.

this is freaking hilarious.

just put the new holliday site up.

we’ve got our readers back.
well, some of them.
i need to redesign this thing. it kinda sucks.

whatwhat.

I was once chased by an armless midget

Not really, but I can dream.

Umm… Okay, so Ellisa isn’t coming — she won’t be excused from mandatory attendance at Founder’s Week, though V and I are. Also, Vanita and I are rather poor, so frugality would be nice to consider.

(Mostly for Jimmy) I will shortly be debuting Oldsmobile Remenisence and likely a companion CD Oldsmobile Revolution (how dorky). If there are any requests, I would like to know soonish.

And, scene.

yowza

Leo…whenever I miss school and want to go back…I’ll just think of what you’ve said.
Thanks for the inspiration :)
so…February 5th, before Les Mis…Daniel suggested going to a Steak House across the street from The Fox…he says it isn’t too expensive.
Would you guys (even if you aren’t going to the show you’re invited for food) rather do that or a Barbeque?
bringing so many people to that restaraunt may be bad though without a reservation…

Spring 2005

i’m getting a bit stressed out. On Monday and Wednesday I’ve got school from about 10:30am to 9:00pm with some time to eat squeezed in. Then i was having this problem with some overlapping classes and changing schedules on my Tuesday/Thursday classes…but, alas…i do believe i’ve figured it out and i think i can do it.

i’m in this class where we work collaboratively on a project and build quarter scale models…it’s gonna be pretty sweet, cuz we’re designing the interior, from nose to tail, of one of LearJet’s cheapest business jet (7 million). anyway…i’m pretty excited about it…

during these next few cold months…just dream ahead of the next vifl float trip…

the real card master

i once designed a deck of cards from 52 packs of playing cards (2704 cards). i picked the best card from all 52 decks, and put it into one super-deck (i call it the A-Deck because it was Awesome, plus all the cards had A’s on them).

the A-deck is great for magic tricks, but only once or twice. then i have to switch to what i call the K-Deck. And then the Q-Deck and J-Deck. I know this is probably more confusing than James’ magic deck, but the concept is pretty simple. Plus, using the A-Deck, no one can beat you at War.

by the way, i designed these decks in my head because i’m too cheap to buy 52 decks of playing cards.

by the way again, did you know that you can get umbrellas at the dollar tree? it kills me to think of all that money i wasted on birthday presents. from now on, i’m going to make sure my family is the driest family ever. much like my humor.

you geekless wonders you.

do “design” a deck means I took cards…and I made a deck out of them. Sounds alot simpler than it is. To make a really good deck is difficult because of the intense competition and skill involved in Magic (I’m not making a joke there) and to design an ORIGIONAL deck that WORKS is nearly impossible due to the limited amount of cards + the number of people worldwide who play the game. It’s very easy to design a deck around some cards that interact well…only to find that someone designed it and took it to a World Championship a year before you…and suddenly your origionality is non-existant. It would be like writing a song…but then having someone tell you they heard that song already.

CAUTION: CONTENTS HOT

Good job, James. I’m happy for you, even though you are a geek (j/p). So what exactly does it mean to design a deck? Please elaborate in light of my ignorance.

Yeah, so I posted a big long philosophical post on livethislife that I thought should have raised a little bit of debate, but no one seems to be responding to it. Ya know, I’m beginning to think this whole discussion board business is not my thing, cause the only thing I ever do is create lulls! (lol) <– little pun there.

Ohhh, this semester is really going off to a good start. I’m glad, cause it’s usually the first couple o’ weeks that set the tone for the whole thing.

So, I was supposed to write in iambic pentameter in class today, but I had writer’s block. So here’s my poetry for the day:

Short is my line, but not so short the time
I spend to write this uninspired rhyme.

Not that anyone cares

I’ve gone and designed a deck for Magic the Gathering that is being recieved well in the online community.
go ahead and laugh at my geekness now.

FROG CAKE

James Andrew, congratulations on the recent engagement. Vanita’s a wonderful person, so your life together should be very happy. As long as she stays in the kitchen. Oh, and keep her from books. Once she leaves the kitchen and reads, things will go to hell.

But seriously folks, today I…umm, I guess I’m done.

he also says, “yo”

he and my sister went to the doctor today and the baby is about 5 cm long and everything seems to be going right along…she’s due in august.
