don’t mean to distract from all the important events, but i wanted to make sure everyone got a chance to check out battlestar galactica (especially James). currently, season 1 is on the sci-fi channel (so i’ve been told), but you might be able to download it at a bittorrent site because the whole season has already been shown overseas.
it started as a miniseries (watch this first, if possible).
someone i work with got me into this, and provided me with dvds of the miniseries and first season.
the graphics are as good as firefly, in fact, a lot of the camera work is similar. BSG just has a lot more. the acting is great and the plot is suspenseful. its a bit more serious than firefly (not as much comedy). still, a very well-made show.
