So today a homosexual man asked me on a date.
what should I wear?

HA! I’m funny.
But seriously. A homosexual man asked me on a date. It was…odd. He is someone I know from Magic and he thought I was married (no idea why), and when he found out I wasn’t he asked me out.
That’s one thing in my life I never planned on experiencing…

In other news, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith will be coming to theatres about mid to late May. Yes, we should be planning a little trip to Ronnie’s or Des Peres. I believe it’ll be on a Thursday or Friday, but I’ll get back with further details as soon as possible. Should be fun.

drove 900+ miles on a road trip that never traversed the kansas state borders. we camped on the top of a giant rock at Castle Rock…i can’t really explain the experience…we could barely see a light on any horizon we were so far from the “world” and the moon was bright and it was windy…it was really like the top of the world. they said i should propose to rachel there…i’ll post pictures! beautiful country…
the next day we drove to Monument Rock…which is farther west and that was awesome…a huge white owl flew right by my head as i stood on a chalk column a good 60 feet off the ground.
on the way home we saw the world’s largest prarie dog, the garden of eden and some other sweet stuff.
God’s creation amazes me daily, but on a trip like that…sheesh.

Saint Louis Christian Music You can see some other local Christian bands. There is also an opportunity to maybe play near the Edwards Jones Dome during the Final Four event on patios. There will be hundreds of people who pass by. Just thought you may want to check it out. NCAA Final For Him Outreach

which vifl member did the following:
during a school assembly, the area fire chief was giving a presentation about home safety. the fire chief asks the students, “do you know what shape your smoke detector is in?” this kid answers, very loudly, “circular!”.
who knows the answer? this story is what my father remembers first about this person.

Last night I had this dream. I dreamed that I was a college student at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago Illinois. First off, it was one of those dreams where the place I was at, wasn’t the place it is in real life…meaning that the Moody Bible Institute in my dream looked nothing like the real thing. Secondly, this dream was also one of those VERY vivid dreams that feel like they were real even after you wake up.
Anyway, on my first day there, as everyone was coming back from the summer and getting moved in I went through the typical “first day of college” move-in routines…it was fun. Then later that night a man came up to one of the doors of the dorm (for some reason this was a co-ed dorm, which just wouldn’t happen at Moody) and asked to be let in. Now this was a door at the end of a very long hallway (that actually looked exactly like the back hallway of Dryer only like 100 feet longer). None of the group of people at the end of the hallway with me wanted to go open the door and we couldn’t see the man’s face from that far away. Then he started threatening us through the door…but here’s the weird thing…his voice was….pervasive (that word is a perfect description of his voice)…it was deep and rumbling and it wasn’t quite like we heard his voice so much as felt his voice. Even after turning the corner to get away from him his voice was clearly heard but it wasn’t as if he was yelling. He was just speaking.
In the following weeks (isn’t it strange how you can “live” weeks in a dream in the span of minutes?) the man was seen around campus though no one ever saw his face. It came to a point where the school set a curfew of dark and required all students to travel the entire city in groups of 4 at minimum due to the threatening nature of this man (don’t ask me why the police were never called).
Then came the fateful night when he broke into the dorms. We all heard the voice again threatening us (I can’t remember the things he said, but they sure did frighten me in the dream) and then a loud crash as he kicked open the door to the dorm. Then we all were told to meet in the common area for safety and as I ran there with others the man came around the corner of the hallway that I was in…he started to run toward me…and then I woke up and realized I was late for work.
so there’s that story.
