I just got this new web browser called Flock. It’s basically Firefox, but has added features specifically for bloggers and Flickr users (Flickr is like blogging with images).
I am posting this from outside of Vifl’s site right now to test it out…you guys should check it out.

this past weekend, when my wife asked the fat question, i tried to reply with the worst thing i could think of — “yeah, but you are supposed to. you don’t expect those clothes to hide all your chub do you?”
i found this extremely funny, because this is about the craziest game played by couples. women ask this question over and over. men know what they should answer, and how to answer it (you have to be believable). i think my wife is thin. heck, it doesn’t matter that much to me anyway. i do not notice any change from one week to the next, but a simple “no, you do not look fat” is not enough. there are a lot of reasons it’s not enough, but my point is that it’s crazy, and sometimes i wish i could just joke around and say things like,
“yeah, but why don’t you find out what *her* secret is to looking thin all the time.”
(*her* could be replaced with a proper name for effect.)
any other ideas? one’s you’ve used? or had used on you?
ha ha, i’m posting this because no one else has been posting anything.

I love these guys! Their website is www.blancscreencinema.com. Their movies are obnoxiously funny. There’s one that’s just a guy in a monkey suit destroying a piano with a shovel. Not sure if that one’s available on the web or not.

So I just read some of the stuff people in the DMFC had posted on their xangas. I personally enjoyed Aaron Snyder’s and James Wright’s recent comments.
I’ll be in Missouri this weekend. Vanita and I will drive down Saturday morning-ish and leave Monday afternoon-ish.
Back to xangas: a ton of kids from the youth group with whom I work have xangas. I can’t keep up with reading them. I don’t think there’s any way I could have one of my own, much less post on it. Sheesh!

heh, there is more info about the basketball teams on there…it’s funny. In 2 years (98 to 00 school years) we went a total of 0-28 in games.

Correct me if I am wrong Jacob. There is a restaurant called “The Fires of Brasil” and from what I have heard it is amazing. A true Brazilian barbeque here in the States. I want to go so bad. Instead of the road trip to Alaska, how about to one of the southern states to this restaurant. Jacob, elaborate.
