Fires of Brasil

Correct me if I am wrong Jacob. There is a restaurant called “The Fires of Brasil” and from what I have heard it is amazing. A true Brazilian barbeque here in the States. I want to go so bad. Instead of the road trip to Alaska, how about to one of the southern states to this restaurant. Jacob, elaborate.

Indeed. Fire of Brazil, as it is called, is a restaurant where they serve you meat. Lots of meat. All kinds of meat on these long metal stick things. You have a card–it’s green on one side and red on the other. As soon as you turn the card face up on green, you are swarmed by servants who offer you all different kinds of meats–leg of lamb, rump roast, steak, pork, ham, chicken legs, sausage, etc.–and they’ll keep offering you delectable, juicy meat until you turn your card back onto red. Then when you’re ready for more turn your card back over to green. It’s crazy. They also have a really excellent salad bar with all sorts of sea food and wonderful things. Plus they have a wide selection of fine wines. And the waiters are all Brazilian! (I think)

There are several churrascarias in the U.S. I know for sure that Chicago, Dallas, and Atlanta have them. (There are 4 in Chicago, I think.) The drawback: they can be pricey — think $40 for lunch.

true, they are very expensive. but very good and unique. a real experience if you’re willing to pay. we could go to chicago maybe and eat there. maybe we’ll find some mt. mckinley there or something, who knows. or maybe just some beautiful chicago women.
