comedy gold.

on the same vein of "saying what you really mean". The other day my coworker got a call from a car salesman who had showed him and his wife a car. The guy was pestering him about coming in again to see some more cars. To end the conversation my coworker said: "No, I don't like you, you were checking out my wife." He then went off on the guy for another few minutes with quite a few expletives.
I thought it was funny.

funny stuff... and on the same vein of undesirable things being excreted from your body...

this morning after i had made myself comfortable at work, the other programmer came in and accused me of breaking wind (i defended myself and thought nothing more of it).

later we found the source. a veggie tray had been left out all weekend (5 days) from a luncheon we had on thursday. i wouldn't have even known because i have a cold... that is, until the other programmer accidentally popped the cover off the tray. it opened my sinuses right away, which is a true shame, because for once i would have appreciated having a stuffy nose.

we took it down to the dumpster, leaving a trail of stench behind us. when we got back in the building, the smell had permeated the whole stairwell and every department we had walked through.

we got back to the IS department to find EVERYONE standing up looking around for the source of the awful smell.

it lingered for about half an hour. I'd like to think the air conditioner carried it to the rest of the building.
