Has anyone heard of yousendit.com? It looks pretty cool.

Apparently, it is a service that lets you send up to 50 megabyte files at once (or maybe it hosts your info?).

It’s free, too.

Logitech Webcam getting popular because of Randy?

well…not really Randy…but it’s getting popular for being able to do things that Randy used to program at his old company:

Adam to Noah

I don’t know if I wrote this earlier, but I thought about it today. When some of you guys were talking about the chronology in the Bible from Adam to Noah, you were trying to figure out exactly how long it was.

Apparently different manuscripts had different numbers, which in turn, means that, depending on which one they use, translaters of our Bibles would pick which one they thought was best.

Also, in literature contemporary to Genesis, chronologies could be legitimately written in a way that described dynasties or the like. Similarly, geneologies could have gaps (just hitting the high points). So, the author could have skipped generations in five or ten name increments or as their purposes would suit.

$19 for the entire Firefly series on DVD ($22 with shipping).
that’s an incredibly good deal for 14 episodes + bonus footage…usually that runs you around $30 at least.
