Wow, the VIFL’s really hoppin!
Well, Babo’s doing well. She’s home now, healing from the surgery, going through physical therapy and stuff. Within a couple of months she should be great–better than before.
Ryan, sorry if I kind of smothered the political topic with all the surgery talk and such. I think it’s extremely impressive how much you pay attention to politics (unless you just looked all of that information up on the internet, you cheating crapface). James is indeed correct in saying that many of us don’t know squat about politics. Then again, our lives are pretty easy so how much do we feel a need to be involved and to be educated in it? My violin teacher (who is quite active politically) has told me that the day you are personally affected by politics is the day you get involved. That seems to make sense. Foreign policy? Oil? Illegal aliens? “What the crap should I care? How the crap should I know? I’m just a 22 year old looking for an okay job and a few extra hours to finish my indy film.” But I’m sure with maturity, and with much more experience, politics will begin to hit home even with me.
Leo, I don’t get it. I left about ten messages on your phone the other day about my car lights idea. Didn’t you get them???!! Isn’t the idea brilliant? I hope you used it. It will make you rich.
