i looked at the private platinum list, and it doesn’t look like drew’s name in on the list. in fact on if you look, his name is on the “Deny Private Access” list. Who put him there?
I read Vifl through the RSS feed…so I don’t get private posts either. Besides…when did Vifl become a place where we can’t say things to our public of…Phil Myers…I mean…it’s not as if anyone but US reads it anyway.
maybe I’d know the nature of the post if I could possibly SEE the post.
I can see that there are some comments under a post that Jacob informed me was private…but if I click on “View Post” under one of those comments (when in the Site Admin) I get the message “Error 404 - Not Found” even though I’m logged into the site.
it seems as if not everyone can view or reply to these private posts.
i apologize again. i’m totally joking about everything. i have no idea why the private posts aren’t working for everyone (they always have for me). i’m being more of a hindrance than a help, i know.
i’ve been looking for how the private posts are supposed to work, and i’m getting the idea that private posts are not viewable to other WP users. here is a quote from a message board:
“Just for future reference: Private posts aren’t visible (on your page, on your dashboard or on your feed) to any other user besides yourself, irrespective of user role.”
the only ones who can see them are the poster and the admins.
most definitely. actually, any posts that are marked private appear when you’re logged in….so, no.
Not so. I keep clicking the title of the private posts and it gives me a 404 error.
