i had this disturbing dream last night.
it involved basically all of my friends from washington. it took place in the vacinity of my parents house. one of my friends turned evil and was trying to detonate some explosive in the house with all of my other friends in it. i was left with no choice but to kill this friend with a brick. it was quite disgusting. i vividly remember swinging this brick down into the top of his head over and over…
the odd part was that when i first woke up i could remember who it was that i’d killed…..now i cannot.
it disturbed me a great deal.
I post this as a comment…but it may be easier read here.
I will have a devo ready. I need to know the exact place we are leaving from. Go to my house the night before, I may not be there yet but my parents will be expecting ya’ll. I’ll be driving 12-13 hours that day so I’ll be pretty wiped out when I arrive home that evening…if I’m snappy know it isn’t your fault. I may be able to get an old guitar, but it may be easier if someone else does. I need someone to bring Josh and Brandon back to Washington since I won’t be going back after the float trip. I have to go directly to a camp from our landing point. It is part of the way to where I am heading. BRING FIRST AID! No smoking…..I’d prefer. Nor alcohol. Not a demand, but I would appreciate it since I am trying to do neither right now. Welp….call me and leave messages on my phone if you need to.
Also….there was talk that Ryan Hill, my brother-in-law, might be coming. I think Jon talked to him about it. So…figure that out. I gotta get back to being a CIY slave.
Okay, for anyone wondering…
Leo, helpful as he always is, has provided me, an unexperienced Vifl Floater, with some answers.
As far as food goes, what has been done in the past?

… and what will it cost per person for the canoes?
and it’s like 35ish bucks a person for a seat in a canoe.
Do we need to worry about tents, or will we be sleeping beneath the stars?

Sounds like all we need to figure out now is a time and place to meet and driving arrangements. I’ll be coming from Joplin, so where does that leave me destination-wise? Is there a certain spot we meet at the river or do we just show up at the place and Jimmy has already linked to?

The last one had a bunch of comments, so I thought adding a new topic to comment under would be less confusing.
That being said, I will be coming to the Vifl float trip, God willing. I’m moving to the new Starbucks opening up here in Joplin and our grand opening is on July 6. I asked off for this several weeks ago, but it’s a small possibility that they would think illy of me heading out for the river the weekend of grand opening. Shouldn’t be a problem though, since it’s a Sunday/Monday deal.
My friend Ross Brand might be coming as well. I’ll talk to him and post his decision by Monday.

Yesterday I bowed out of the new Deepthought Design. I’m going to hang around until we finish all of the current projects and then I’m going to be working like 20hrs a week at web/graphic stuff and spending the rest of my time getting my furniture off the ground.

The float trip is now 18 days away and we don’t even know who’s going for sure.

I know it’s pretty much going to be up to me or leo to plan this thing and
neither of us want to do it but I’m gonna go ahead and say that if you
haven’t checked in by next Monday…you are not going.

who should be going but doesn’t check
vifl enough…TELL THEM!
