I got a new phone with a local number. It’s the red Blackberry Pearl… I’m stoked. My new number is 662-275-7718. My old number will work until the end of the month, though.

why didn’t you get an iphone?
Because I don’t have money coming out my iButt.
I got an iPhone…because I have no family to take care of and I’m spoiled by myself and I don’t think about others when it comes to the good I could do with my money and I love technology and the latest greatest “thing”.
I love my iphone but I wish I had never bought it. In fact, I wish I had gone for a Pearl as they are supposedly awesome possum.
My Pearl has been good to me. I’m a little concerned that they had so many refurbs that I got mine for $30. They must have enough of the bugs worked out, though.
It is a very powerful phone. The only shortcomings in my mind are that access to the memory isn’t instantaneous (oh, well) and the buttons are small (but it’s about the size of my closed Razr).
i love my phone…it does phoney things. call and text message.
