wow…it’s been a busy month. I’ve been to Mississippi with you guys, Illinois with my family, and most recently California for nearly a week.
My buddy Mark (he came on the float trip once) picked me up at LAX and we drove the scenic route up to San Francisco. 7 hours. This is hwy 1….pacific coast highway….one of the most beautiful roads…probably anywhere. Anyway…great trip. We visited the Full House house and many other attractions. Spent a few days in the LA area early last week and met with a guy I’m developing some furniture with. And on the flight back to KC I sat next to the sales guy for Bernhardt Design…basically THE name in contemporary furniture. So, that was pretty amazing….I proceeded to spill my cup of ice all over the place….fumbling around….
and that’s my update…. now it’s time for yours….let’s have em…
leo, thanks for the update. we should chat about San Francisco sometime. on one business trip, i was stuck out there for the weekend, so i took a day and drove pacific coast hwy down to santa cruz, and came back through the mountains. man, i wish i had enough time to take it all the way to LA. that would have been awesome.
i’ll take your word on Bernhardt Design since i’m no expert on furniture — but that’s pretty crazy.
My January consisted of losing my job and looking for a new one (which isn’t going well).
