Unless something unexpected comes up, we’ll be moving fairly soon. The photo above is the old home on the property…not the main home… while we were all down there on Monday cleaning this old house out, Jacob suggested that we have a VIFL excursion here….and sleep in this house….and for added excitement, this is mountainous Black Bear country. There is a big creek just behind the photographer taking this photo.
This property is the retirement destination for Larry, Nancy, and Babo (and Aaron), but that won’t be for a few years, so Rachel and I are moving there to occupy it in the meantime. The driving time’s only a bit worse than driving to KC from Washington.
I’m most excited because I’m going to have space to implement an awesome woodshop…which I’ve really been needing to work on furniture.

jon, looks like it’s about 4.5 hrs. from Joplin….which seems long since it’s in northern arkansas. It’s only 5.5 from there to KC.
looks pretty sweet man. how many bedrooms you can only see the big room. Does it have a basement for your workshop or is there an out building to work in?
3 bedrooms and a loft. there’s a separate garage that’ll serve as the shop. probably the house’s coolest feature is the 8 foot porch that wraps the entire house.
