I am having my yearly New Year’s eve thing this year….I was able to move my return to Mexico date. So…come at dark on New Year’s eve. Bring some food and something to drink…no alcohol. Bring a friend if you want. It’ll last til the next day. Stay the night if you want. Bring some board games or a video game system or DVD or whatever. It’ll be a good time.

So guys, is there anyone that wants to do something this December? I would need to know soon because of trips that I am planning. I am going to Brazil during the first weeks of December and if we are wanting to do something, then that would determine where I would fly back to after my trip there. So do you guys want to do something? It could be the weekend of the 13th or 20th for me.
please keep my friend jon schmitz in your prayers. They just lost thier second baby to miscarriage and they are taking it pretty hard.
We were getting our mail one day and heard this squawking bird and were looking around for it…finally we saw that it was a tiny black kitten with creepy/squinty eyes and the loudest meow you’ve ever heard. From then on we’d see the cat around the mailbox every once in a while.
I’d noticed that our mailbox and our neighbor’s mailbox were left open several days in a row…I went to close ours and the kitten popped it’s head out in my face and YELLED at me….the kitten actually gets on top of the mailboxes, opens them, then gets in.
So, today, we were driving somewhere and we approached the mailbox in the truck, when all of a sudden, this little black animal with a peanut butter jar for a head comes walking across the road in front of us… we CRACKED up…the funniest thing I’ve seen. So, I felt sorry for it and went to see if I could get it off. At first, it tried to escape me, but its senses were quite impaired, so it gave up. It did, however, lick the bottom of the jar clean so it could see out of it like a little helmet. It took me probably about 30 seconds of pulling and twisting to get the thing off.
I went to get the mail today and it came out of the mailbox to greet me.
